That is, translation of BSS is the right translation.

It is translation of kurou that I was surprised.
This may be quotation from a side story "Wolf and Golden Wheat".
"Wolf and Golden Wheat" had the similar scene.

Although Lawrence did not notice, Horo is talking about lovesickness.
It is quoted from the proverb "even a doctor cannot cure a lovesickness".
