I think it can be very hard for some people to not hate a murderer, especially if they know the victim(s). I don't think that I could be free of that hate (but hopefully I will never have to find out).
But at the same, that's just another confirmation that I am also a sinner.
So when God, who knows everything about all people and have judged that all have sinned, is willing to be reconciled with anyone (even a murderer) who repents and takes the salvation offered through Jesus Christ, it is not my place as a fellow sinner to say otherwise.
