Sterling01 said in one post that basically everything in that part c is explained on Saikoroshi-hen and Umineko. Saikoroshi is an arc on Rei, but how is Umineko no Naku Koro ni exactly related to higurashi?

The plot of the first chapter is completely unrelated to Higurashi (I think that Higurashi is said to be a fictional story by the main character of the game). However, there's a hidden extra (called the tea party) in which Bernkastel appears and discusses a few things that are related to Higurashi. My personal theory is that Umineko and Higurashi take place in completely different worlds, but that all these worlds are connected to the dimension in which the witches reside.
