Ironically, it's because of the girls beating up the guys we get an influx in popularity here in the thread, as compared to the relatively uneventful start.
But I would say the second season overtook the first in the second half as we dive deeper into the characters' past and the romance angle.
Season one jumped the timeline around while season two is more faithful.
So I guess this would make it vol 6?
Which leaves Vol 6.5, vol 7, vol 7.5, vol 8, vol 9, vol 9.5... Basically no shortage of material. |
6.5 was animated fully, as well as most of 7.5. So they only have 4 volumes of material to work with, plus 3 or four stories they skipped - just enough for another season. So if volume 9/9.5 ends in an incomplete arc (or doesn't have a grand enough finale), they won't be able to green lit it for a while. And since they are putting out some more specials soon, they almost certainly have to wait for Kenji Inoue to create more material.
