I rarely re-watch anything, but I watched episodes 1 and 2 several times. Unfortunately, episode 3 didn't quite make the same impression, though it had its moments. It seemed emptier, somehow.
The official site mentions that the writer changed for episode 3. 1-2 were written by Oyamada Fukyoushi (listed as the author of the "original work", whatever that is in this case), 3 was written by the director, Nishimura Junji. Oyamada Fukyoushi also wrote some episodes of Samurai Deeper Kyo.
