Eons ago, when I still had my long hair, I was dating a girl (She liked to be called Niffer, short for Jennifer), and we got far enough in our relationship that she introduced me to her parents. They liked me OK enough, except for the hair. They harassed me quite a bit about it.
It usually went like this:
Parents: When are you going to cut your hair?
Endless Soul: Why would I do that?
Parents: Because only bad people grow their hair long
Endless Soul: ~points at the picture of Jesus hanging on the wall~ Well Jesus had long hair, and yet you think he's a good guy (I can't believe I actually used the "Jesus had long hair" argument)
Parents: Yes...well..that's different!
It usually went on and on, with me countering their every argument. I wasn't scoring any points with them, but Niffer always seemed to be snickering in the background.
