It's much harder to justify with Kallen. He drove her away and betrayed the UFN, so if anything she should be hating him, not the other way around.

Except she's absolutely ridiculously in love with him, so she'd naturally probably think of his view first before her own betrayal.

When Lelouch provoked the response in the first place, yes, it would rather unlikely.

But does that really matter to her when she loves him that seriously? Of course not. She's probably extra concerned with keeping her good impression.
