I wonder what the actual boundaries of this rule are. On its surface, it seems to only forbid the
detective from using supernatural agencies. So if there was some supernatural element to the mystery, but the detective reasoned its existence out by using mundane investigative techniques to uncover properly presented clues, is that really disallowed?
For that matter, what is a "supernatural agency" for the purposes of the rule? Producing meta knowledge seems to qualify, but is something like a seance disallowed if the world legitimately has evil spirits?
