I must say Dot Pixis really knows how to motivate his people.

Interesting legend he tells. To unite humanity there needed a common threat. Eren never heard of such a thing.

Which reminds me of Spoiler for Suisei no Gargantia Episode 9 and 10: Ledo's dilemma in Suisei no Gargantia and how Chamber explained to him the facts. It is either kill or be killed it doesn't matter if the enemy were once human as the enemy for intents are no longer human as they lost their human intelligence and civilization. If they didn't fight human civilization would end. Ledo doesn't like his whole life he is being lied to by the government when he discovers the truth. Similar conditions here.
