What I think most of them are lacking is a sense of depth. You can easily control the color scheme and quality, no errors there, but they are quite plain. You have a special sense for the text (first one) so I won't comment much on that. Bit hard to read maybe.
You could also work some on lightning, it seems random right now, but it's easily fixed.
