Whats funny of that theory and I don't recall on which fiction I read this, magic is basically the same, if a formula that can be replicated, thus it can be consider a science, a true magic in a sense is something the mage himself can't explain or reproduce ever again, in a way Oriana magic is closer to magic than normal magic.
