The LAN and online mode are like a "right out of the box" thing in the game, but I'm not sure if the servers are still alive now(I kind of doubt it though). As for LAN, you hook up like 4 TVs and PS2 together with like 4 copies of the game. Never tried either of those, but I know they are in there. =/
