WOW! This thread has certainly taken off! I didn't think there were that many gun enthusiasts on here!
Our own current armoury contains: My husbands Beretta 92FS (he bought one to stay familiar with the issue M-9) and his Remington 870 12 gauge shotgun. Me I have my Daddy's old 1911-A1 that he brought home from Korea, a Colt AR-15, my CCW gun an HK P7 and a Smith & Wesson snubnose .38 in stainless steel, and an old Remington .22 rifle. All of them are locked in a safe (except for the home defence guns), so the kids don't get curious (even though both have completed a Hunter's Safety course!)
If I were limited to only one of the above, I'd take the .45! It just plain works!!
