This is the point where Gilgamesh truly 'falls in love' with Saber. To put things bluntly, imagine an innocent young girl slowly degenerating into a slut (Yes, I am not kidding). That is his expectation from Saber, wanting her to slow plunge into despair as she failed at achieving her ideals again and again.
