Quite possibly the best (in)direct sequel opener for me that I've seen in a hell of a long time.
If when you ever watched the original when we were all young and wanted to ride your very own Vanship, I think this pilot episode will reignite your desire to break your own metaphorical "Grand Stream".
Anyway I'm saying too much. I still need to watch it with subs to get a better picture of it all, but barring something else, this may be my favorite sow of the season.
