Given that Tamako Market ended with the announcement of a second season of Chuunibyou, and given how long its been since Haruhi last had an anime installment, I'm prepared to think that Haruhi might really be done as an
anime franchise.
I've come to terms with that, as disappointing as it is.
So let me just say that the Haruhi anime franchise was a blast, and lots of fun to watch and talk about, while it lasted. This forum is one that I will always have fond memories of, as I have a lot of lasting memories (and friends) that arose out of E8 debates more than anything else, ironically.
Dr. Casey and Kogetsu Shirogane are two big examples of that.
Haruhi herself will likely remain amongst my Top 10 anime characters of all-time, and I definitely do miss seeing her in anime format. But ah well, it was nice while it lasted.
