Shogun: Total War was a game that started it all. And from the IGN article it seems CA also knows what the fans want from the title -- not Empire, but something far more restricted, far more balanced, far more sublime. On that note, I would rather they sort out the issues with the older Total War titles than to start a new project. If they want to make it complex, they better make sure it works.
