Kabuto could collect DNA of Haku and Zabuza just as easily as Suigetsu was able to collect Zabuza's sword. Yes, it makes no sense that nobody else stole it in the meantime

Yea that is what I was thinking. Kabuto's best bet would be to wait till after they have died go to where they are buried and get a peice of hair or something. He would have faced some resistance though depending like if they were buried in a village or something.
