Based off other idol animes I've watched. Which I'm sure many other people watched as well. It has a chance of having a 2nd cour in stock. That would be nice, especially with the slow, but good pacing. Having focus on 9 characters with only 12 episodes + idol talk/concert/etc seems like a huge stretch.
