Yes, they are. Still otaku weirdos make such an easy target for parody that it feels a bit like shooting fish in a barrel. Sakuma/Ichigo-tan, on the other hand, is just too cute for words. I do like how Sakuma can switch into her pissed-off mode. It gives her character at lot more depth and more comic potential.
Sakuma seemed remarkably nonplussed when those guys watched her change. Maybe she's got a bit of exhibitionism in her? I suspect Azazel and Beelzebub would be upset to learn that they missed out on that show.
Can any of you who speak Japanese confirm that the translated profanity is in the original script? Or is this just the subbers taking liberties? Given the overall adult nature of this show, words like those seem to fit, but it seems quite uncommon in anime to have characters say "fuck."
