I need help remembering an anime I used to watch years ago. I don't remember much of anything at all besides bits of the first episode.

There was a family living in some sort of bio-facility.. or something. Two kids, a dad, another guy, and maybe a robot or something. May have been on another planet. May have been some sort of apocalyptic wasteland. Something happened and I think other guy betrayed dad... government goons come guns a'blazing... dad is either killed or kidnapped. Kids I think escape to the wastes... or to some city.. or something. They have have powers, or are genetically modified.. not sure. Pretty sure there was a robot, or some kind of companion. Maybe a dog. Robot dog. Idk. Kids are own their own.. I think geared towards rescue/revenge.. something like that. Other guy probably stole all of dad's work.

I think that's how it went. If any of you know what I'm talking about, I'd be surprised. But that would be awesome.
