Personally I think it would have been best if Kyousuke insisted to their father to let Kirino play the all-age versions rather than the R-18 ones. In that sense he wouldn't have needed to take the bullet for Kirino, and their dad doesn't have to think of his son as some perverted siscon.
Of course now Kirino owes Kyousuke big time... hmm...
