Anyway, I was mostly looking forward to Hirano's awesomeness -seeing Hirano going from weak-kneed nerd to crazed gunman is one of my favorite bits of this franchise- and it was... kind of a letdown. The contrast between weak-kneed nerd and crazed gunman feels much sharper in the manga, which I think is because of the voice. While the artwork still shows a sharp contrast, the voice just doesn't carry that contrast along. A bit of a bigger contrast in voice would have increased the impact, in my opinion.
