I was also hoping for the "where are they now" montage long after the ED. They could have at least taken more liberties with that.

Spoiler: Shit, I was hoping they would have made the "entity" (dunno what exactly to call him) a little more clear. It's obvious from the sparklies that Luke disappeared, but that the DAMNED BODY TWITCH added an additional level of confusion. Like Peanutbutter, I'd like to believe that Asch had already kicked the bucket and Luke has taken up the vacancy in that husk of his. I was also hoping for the "where are they now" montage long after the ED. They could have at least taken more liberties with that.
