Erm...writing a script usually is not too related to friend-making powress, so what the story is about is not relevant here.
Personalities aside, Sena being good at everything is one reason (how realistic this is, another issue) other girls can't stand her. And that personality means Sena is used to have cake and eat it, too. In this instance, she is going for the cake (Kodaka & Yozora) whilst the cake has different ideas.
Why use D&D example? I suppose because the difference between say INT 18 and INT 16, whilst only 2, is massive. Therefore the difference between a mere good roll and maxed out roll.
