[Kogetsu Shirogane]

Gotta say... really loving how this show's turning out. I'm going to be honest, I wasn't exactly expecting much from it, and I actually considered dropping it early on, but these last few weeks have certainly made me glad I stuck with it. (Not to say the first few episodes are bad, it's just that I kinda tripled the amount of shows I generally watch.)


I found Hideyoshi's ep so wildly bizarre, and absolutely loved it. I'm assuming there's some cultural information I missed, but it's definitely going to be one I remember this series for.

The Soun two-parter was really great, and I kinda wish there would've been more like it. Definitely the highlight of the series in terms of action scenes.

Last week's casino theme was excellent, and I loved Hisahide's overall design and characterization. Not a bad take on a guy who went out of his way to spite Nobunaga before he died.

And finally, we come to Maeda Keiji. What better thing to do with the infamous kabukimono than turn him into a biker chick... who can talk with her motorcycle, Matsukaze. Not only that, but the episode had some amusing Clark Kent/Superman vibes to it, and a lovely callback to the first episode in the form of an Oota cameo. Certainly going to be one of my favorites for this series.
