HotD stands on its own legs in the zombie apocalypse genre, being far more "real" than Hellsing or Gantz, who doesn't belong in the genre to start with. Simple is sometimes the best way to go. And since when does all sequels and side stories suck lol

Don't really know what he's trying to say either, I'm not getting he's comparisons.
Everybody who's checked out the manga knows it doesn't have a deep story but it sure had tits and ass (fanservice) oh and gore as well which is why it's popular and it's being turn into an anime.
