I just watched the first episode, and I could tell that the director did Negima without knowing beforehand!
One thing I also noticed was some real twisted humor in this episode that makes it stand out as something different (I hope that this can be kept up for the show's run).
That end was really good! I don't know why, but I got some Read or Die OVA vibes with that and also thought that it is good enough to be an open!
