Actually, that made me think abit. Knowing what Kira does to Hina in the manga, I think it's a kind of bittersweet relief to know that as far as the anime is concerned, Hina's in a place where Kira can't reach her.
Then again; is she really safe from Kira? But I guess that at least her physical body would be safe, as Kira has no physical manifestation. And I doubt Hina (her soul or whatever) could wander into an N-field if she's dead.
