Here's my interpretation based on the media calling this the "heaven and hell" concept
The older girls represent the old akb, younger ones are the ones will carry the torch. They're trying to save the older girls meaning the young ones will lead akb in the future. By going up the mountain, they're rising out of hell but not without suffering. In the end heaven (popularity, happiness, dream fulfilled) will wait for them after suffering.
Since its akb expecting a 30 min ver just for the drama or at least a longe ver to clear things up. Either way badass "bikini" PV lol it look straight out of some anime or sci fi/fantasy movie
