This IS a mecha show where a main character has a sister complex...
So its pretty obvious that Nanaly will "die" before the end... There's like zero chance that she won't... The circumstances all lead up to it... As well as the history.
Whether its a permanent death or not is another question. But still, the show will make Lulu go off into a tangent and Nanaly's "death" is the only way that'll happen.
