Well, I'd say Takeru is one of the more interesting male lead in animes for me. And it's very rare for me to like an anime male lead. However

Takeru's "the world won't change despite whatever I do..." public speech at the start just in order for him to skip his cleaning duty is absolutely fantastic! I instantly like this male lead now. I always want some male lead that can crack some jokes and be non-serious at time, instead of some hot-blooded guy or disturbed introvert, and Takeru seems to have a good start
