While I fully agree, the way that episode eight was structured with her scene with Nobuse at the door, it feels like they really want to end her chances. I've trusted facial expressions alot during this show and Ai's in that scene told alot. Though, to be honest, her last face... what I saw there was Ai trying to avoid Nobuse. He is actually giving her space, The old nobuse would not ask her if he could come in
