Actually that is pretty creepy, although im supprised that your parents wouldn't believe you after they heard about the severd hand considering what they saw when you were a baby. Are you sure you didn't have anything weird in the house that might of caused it? I've never had those kinds of experinces but one of my best friends growing up did. It started when their mom (crazy woman not married to there dad anymore) gave them a weird braclet, that same night there was loud banging inside the wall that sounded like a typewriter being slammed inside the wall, after it stopped my friend and his two brothers ran into their dads room and slept with him. Later that same night their dad went to the bathroom and when he tried to open the door to get out he couldn't open it and was stuck in there for about 15-20 minutes before it suddenly would open. The next morning their dad took the braclet outside and threw it in the dumpster and they never had problems again.
My cousin also had a creepy experince the first night back from his honeymoon with his wife. I don't remember the whole story but at one point he felt a hand grab his ankle in the middle of the night while he was sleeping and it started pulling him off the bed till he kicked it loose, I know something also happend to his wife right about the same time but I can't remember what (I havn't thought about this in almost 10 years). Anyway the next moring they threw out a bunch of stuff that they got from some little stalls on the beach on there honey moon in Jamaica. They had some braclets and shirts with weird symbols on it and stuff, and they also never had problems again.
