If you're talking about the second ending

Spoiler for where:

where the guilty crown is shining (with flower on the background) then there is still no indication that they survived. The scene where they showed up scrooge hand replace by shuu is more of an indication that the second void gnome shuu using is from scrooge hand.

Edit:
In the end it didn't matter which choice do you pick because end result is the same though the second ending more of a bittersweet.
