They come from different worlds but yeah that is what they meant. Asuka is from some world / timeline close to the end of WW2. Izayoi is closer to modern times I assume based on the headphones and stuff.
No idea when or what kind of place You is from considering what we saw of her world in episode 1 and the flashback in ep 2. Seemed a really fantasy like place other than the hospital.
Episode 6 was all around amazing. From that start with the reactions to finding out about the festival and leaving the note for Black Rabbit to Izayoi escorting around Asuka to the gift game between Black Rabbit and Izayoi it was a great episode. Especially like seeing more of how well the three main characters despite being so different get along.
