Senran Kagura 08 - A Violet Sound

So that's how things begin. The origin of Katsuragi's unique clothing style wasn't quite what I expected - so whenever she's wearing it, it's as a sign of her friendship towards Ikaruga. (And as a sign of her love of boobs.) There's a lot of information the characters knew from the start that was being held secret from the audience as the show went on, but, for a flashback episode, it was pretty entertaining. All the pieces are starting to fall into place. Though I'm not sure what to think of this whole "chosen one" business yet. Asuka and Homura, by the nature of their protagonist powers, are the ones most likely to obtain it. And poor Hibari, going right into despair mode there. If she can free herself from this on her own, without Yagyuu, that'll be a major step forward.
