I was going to drop this show but after watching episode 1 subbed, I decided I'll watch a few more episodes. The plot is very interesting.

1. In episode 1, exactly what happened to Nebiriru and her partner?

2. Who was narrating in the beginning? It seems to be the weak-ship country.

3. Is the weak-ship country invading good-ship country in order to learn the secrets of Simoun? But it said that even the Simula (that means Simoun pilots, right?) do not know the secrets of Simoun.

4. I swear there were old guys shown in episode 1 but they had female VAs. Are those girls who became guys? It's weird they keep their female voices...

1. Neviril lost control in the middle of the remergeance and in the end, her Simoun barely managed to escape the blast. Unfortunately, her partner, Amulia, was caught in the blast and as you can see in the scene of the damaged Simoun before Neviril freaks out... the upper cockpit has been blasted off.

2. Yes, it's someone from the invading country.

3. If you notice some of the footage, they're trying to drag back parts of a Simoun to analyze it.

Ah, so Latin was the missing link I was looking for... and the Sibylla Aurea (golden prophetess) confirms it. So does Auriga(a slave who drove chariots) and Sagitta(arrow). Good stuff. ( '-')b

EDIT: I wonder why they wanted to mix both French and Latin into the terms... Maybe they didn't think the Latin sounded cool enough? ^_^;
