It's not necessary to prove further the dominance of English football in Europe. Three English teams made it to the semifinals, and it goes along with the standings of the leagues. From Europe, I personally favor the English premiership, too. I find Spanish football terribly boring, and I can't seem to understand the ultra-defensive way of playing in the Italian league.
But of course, the best of leagues IMO is the Argentinian championship. Call me biased, but not even English Premier League matches thrill me so much as local football clashes.
