Spoiler for Our micromissiles will blot out the sky:
"A joint testbed for the Prophet? What in the Controller's name are you thinking"
As the lifter cranes installed several parts into the IS, two box shaped missile launchers were mounted to back of the IS as two extension parts are also mounted on the IS. Empyrean didn't learn about this until he came here for work. Apparently, one of the defense contractors Kisaragi was planning a missile development project: Micromissiles they call it. By compacting the missile's payload to smaller sizes, a missile launcher can fire a devastating salvo at the enemy without acquiring full locks. Their latest project is the Karura missile launcher. The codename of the loadout was Agni and the motive system was called Rudra due to the nature of the motive parts. Kisaragi spearheaded the development of a powerful anti aircraft unit and this was the result. The prophet's frame meshed perfectly with the new weapons system. All that remains was testbedding the new weapons...
Combat Data results:
The new powersuit system upgrade was expensive to maintain to say the least. The computer system said that it will cost us about 75300 Credits and to use the entire weapons system, this thing wasn't cheap to fire I daresay but the weapon system is worth every credit. Against the dreaded "Genobee Set", the weapon proved to completely overwhelm the defense system which is known for overcoming most missile weapons due to the lock cancellation pulses emitted from the unit. Hell I think I have found a new doctrine against the IS, spam the missiles as these are protected by a small barrier system which prevents them from harmlessly destroying it.
Defense wise this unit is a complete glass cannon, I really hate the new FCS, it requires you to acquire a vertical lock. At least look on the bright side, it picks up contacts with the missile quickly. The worse part was that a direct heat caused the bloody powersuit to cook up quickly which wears and tears the barrier system and the external armor. The generator used to power this suit is not heat efficient but what you can say?
Overrall, this thing is a complete glass cannon or should I say glass missileer? It's expensive and won't get mass produced but this give me a helluva chance against what Crest is throwing in the market
