That's sure, but for me is obvious that Layfon don't loves Leerin.
This when i saw the beginning of the 1 epi when they said:
Layfon: "There is no overturning it, nor will anyone want too. Neither her Majesty, nor myself."
Leerin: "But i do, is my desire alone not enough?"
The answer of this is "No"
And moreover when Layfon was in Grendan thought only to fight for money for the orphangae and against FM so i don't think that he never thought of anything other than that one.
