Well, I broke down and finally watched the episode. As always hats off to the seiyuus and to the sound director. A good adaptation isn't only made from good base material, but also from the effort from everyone in the anime team.
In any case, during this episode we were made aware of everyone positions towards each other, even if most of the signals the were sending were subtle or plain contradictory. Things should be getting interesting, specially with the prefecture tournament coming soon. Go, go Ryoh! Make history in anime by defeating the protagonists and making everything even more complicated than it already is.
