Actually I heard that he doesn't die, but that he'll turn into powder or something (I think this was mentioned in Ep 2 too wasn't it?)

Anyway, whatever it is that will happen, this series has certainly entertained me so far (then again I can say that for the majority of the shows I'm watching right now)... So hopefully it'll continue to do so.
