The inconsistent brightness is due to each of the first 6 LD's having wildly different settings of brightness, contrast and saturation. It takes me approxamatly two hours per disk to tune it.
After the sixth it seems to be stabilizing.
Any tips to shorten the time would be appreciated
, as it looks like I've got two other LD series (Macross 7 and Legend of the Galatic Heroes) to start soon.
