Hum, no =P
I used some online databases to build up some Kanjis by guessing look-a-like radicals, google translate by writing the text and some self logic and context interpretation...
That would be it, but Silvance was faster and better.
EDIT: You could say i did the hard way. i know Hiragana and some katakana =/
