^It seems to me that, objectively speaking, the Kanon girls are more deformed than the Crest of the Stars characters, lol. Noses at the base of their eyes... eyes large even for anime... tiny mouths...
Anyways, Crest of the Stars' art looks better in the actual anime than it appears in that image. Offtopic, but I think the only anime I ever dropped largely because of the art was the original Kanon, lol...
