One problem for Nasu's work is that his plots are so complex that it's impossible to fully explain it without huge amount of texts(which manga and anime must avoid). It's not that Fate/Stay Night is a bad story, in fact it is a story too good that it can't be converted. (just like Ken Akamitsu's works...)
