I personally don't like a show with all guys, but I dislike a show with all girls even more. Joking about Yaoi scenes never gets old, on top of having GAR as one thing more to keep me interested for the former, since I never find anything GAR about females so it doesn't apply for the latter. In both cases however, nothing to ship for drops my interest like a rock, so I never enjoy shows like those apart from special exceptions.
As for mixed, too many anime feels like a harem if its slanted towards a female heavy cast, while an anti-harem if the other way around. So overall, I like shows where they give an effort to have an almost even split for the guys and girls. I mean, a straight (pardon the pun) 50/50 split is needed to maximize the number of possible het ships, no? XD
