Durarara!! was a lot of fun. It gave me a lot of laugh out loud moments that I haven't had since Gurren Lagann or Toradora. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Thank you for the suggestion.
I don't know why, (I'm not usually one to pick apart a story and look for holes), but this show really made me get into the plot more than I should have.
Spoiler:
Did anyone else notice that Celty was supposedly cut by Saika, yet Anri didn't know everything that she knew? Celty should have been under Anri's sway.
Also, how did Saika start reproducing, if Anri had Saika safely in her possession all this time? It doesn't just walk around by itself. That doesn't make sense.
The other thing that bothered me was Celty. It seemed like her character wasn't thought out fully. Here she is, the epitome of immortal badass, yet she has this strange sense of spinelessness. Seriously? She IS the shadows! Her blade takes the souls of men! Her only weakness, (gold), isn't even discussed in this show. She has absolutely nothing to fear including a mere mortal, Shizuo, or pig cops. She could have killed them all at once without blinking.
That's what I really wanted to see, Celty covering the city in blood. Too bad.
Anyways, plot holes and Celty's strange personality aside, I had a blast watching the show and likely won't forget it.
Honey and Clover I also enjoyed watching. It didn't stand out as much. It wasn't hilarious like the three shows I mentioned above. It wasn't spectacularly, amazingly cute like Kimi no Todoke or Usagi Drop. I loved Ayu. I spent all of her screen time just staring at her. The theme of unrequited loved was interesting. Overall I liked the show, and I didn't feel it wasted my time, but I never got really into it either.
I don't think I'll have time to watch more anime until Monday at least, but thank you for the replies everyone.
