I don't know if it's quite fair to ask this of anime when TV shows and movies made in America normally put
America as the center of the universe.
The biggest action blockbusters have two cities: Manhattan or L.A.
So asking Japan to stop using Tokyo as a setting definitely makes us hypocrites.
